NBPEI Major U18 Teams Head to Amherst

Both the NBPEI Major U18 Hockey League and the NS U18 Major Hockey League are heading to Amherst Dec 7th and 8th to play a couple interlocking league exhibition games and regular season league games as part of the Maritime Development Hockey Alliance (MDHA) between the two leagues.  The games, billed as the "Stadium Series" is the start of what is hoped to be an annual event between the leagues where interlocking games are played in neutral locations, not only to reduced the amount of travel involved with interlocking play but also provide the opportunity for communities to host games at the U18 Major level.

Two interlocking league  exhibition games will be played at the Amherst Stadium Saturday December 7th.  The first game will start at  1 pm with the March & Mill Co. Hunters hosting the Fredericton Caps, followed at 4:15 pm with Kensington Wild taking on Weeks Majors.

Sunday, December 8th regular season games will be played in both leagues.  At 11 am Weeks Majors will host March & Mill Co. Hunters from the NS U18 Major Hockey League followed at 3pm with the Moncton Flyers taking on the Charlottetown Knights in the NBPEI Major U18 Hockey League Matchup.
